Description of Annie's Jughandle Beach Bed & Breakfastinn: Annie's Jughandle Beach Inn is an immaculately clean, affordable B&B on the fabulous Mendocino coastline, just 5 minutes from the world-famous village of Mendocino and the quaint fishing harbor at Fort Bragg. Our rooms are decorated in comfortable antiques, with spa tubs for two, fireplaces, and top of the line queen-size Sealy Posturepedic mattresses. We truly are the best Inn for touching the Pacific Ocean (most others sit on sheer cliffs that you cannot climb down or in the downtown areas). Hiking a mere 400 yards through the wildflowers of the Jughandle Preserve leads you to our majestic headlands (for whale and seal watching) and 2 very private beaches with incredible tide pooling. Breakfast starts with steaming coffee or tea and fresh juices and baked fruit appetizers, often topped with berries from our yard. We then serve up home-made entrees such as Grandpa’s Cajun eggs goldenrod or Nana’s perfectly spiced Vegetable Frittata and local fruit garnishes. Jean’s homemade biscuits and jelly and jam selections get rave reviews and remind one of mornings at Grandma’s. It’s all seasoned and decorated with edible flowers and herbs from our organic gardens.
