Description of Thompson House: This Spanish stucco home's interior is decorated in an English Tudor style. Located on two acres, the home's grounds include lawns, a gazebo and space for 300-400 people for garden weddings and parties. A 1,400-square-foot suite is the only accommodation offered. It's comprised of a bedroom with a romantically draped four-poster bed, a private bath and a living room with ceiling fan, fireplace and a wall of bookcases. Porcelain dolls, crafted by the innkeeper, are displayed. A popular breakfast item is puff pastry filled with home-canned fruits, home-baked muffins and fruit compote. The grounds feature a horseshoe pit and many cedar, pine, redwood and cypress trees to lounge under. Berries are grown on the property and there's a grape arbor, roses, azaleas, rhododendrons, fruit and nut trees and a vegetable garden.
